Typically, due to hygiene issues, the locals who practically guide them along, clean and/or cut the animals/fish that the cast would eat for lunch or dinner. Though the show itself is mostly based off of the survival aspect in the fact that they must hunt/fish/gather to get their meals each day and they must create their shelters, there are still rather funny moments that occur during the filming and hilarious romances that are “hinted” but are more for comedic purposes. Season 3, they went to the Amazon and Galapagos, New Zealand, the Himalayas, Caribbean and Maya Jungle, The Savanna, Micronesia Oceania, Borneo Malaysia, Brazil and the Indian Ocean. In season 2, they went to Vanuatu Oceania, Siberia, Russia and Madagascar. Season 1 had only two trips where they went to Namibia, Africa and Papua, Indonesia. Each trip has a theme of some sort, though it is more like a subtitle for the area of which they are surviving in. So far, there can be at least 2 trips to 9 trips in a single season. The show was originally called “Kim Byungman’s Law of the Jungle” due to the fact that Byungman would be the celebrity leader of these “expeditions” however, they eventually dropped his name from the title after season 2. Though the cast is changed every trip, one member remains the same. This show takes a cast of celebrities to an area that is rather primitive in terms of technology and tools and make them survive on their own with some help from nearby tribes and people. Law of the Jungle is a Korean television show that is a mix of reality, natural documentary, and human drama.
